Job summary

Civica is hiring a Commercial Manager to support bids, tenders, and contract negotiations across our software portfolio for public sector clients. You will work with sales, delivery, and commercial teams to manage risk and governance, ensuring compliance with policies and public sector regulations.

The role focuses on commercial risk management, reporting, and process improvement, with exposure to CLM systems and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial contracts role with understanding of contract law and pricing models.
• Experience with government frameworks or public sector software environments is advantageous.
• Financial literacy to interpret payment profiles, margins and costs.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial Business Partners with bids, tenders, and contract negotiations for high-value accounts.
• Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, legal requirements and public sector regulations.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, escalate issues to protect Civica's position.
• Produce reporting on commercial activities, risks and issues for decision-making.
• Follow processes for contract tracking and order booking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and tools.
