Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking an Area Support Officer in Bexleyheath to help ensure safety and security across client sites. The role is site-based in the public sector with day shifts and must be fully flexible per client requirements.

You will be trained to provide relief cover, maintain a safe environment, and direction for staff and customers while working as part of a team to resolve conflicts and uphold site rules.

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport.
• Experience in customer-facing environments preferred.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Relief cover across a portfolio of locations within a geographical region.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
• Provide first aid assistance when needed (training provided).
• Prepare legible incident reports when incidents arise.
• Resolve conflicts at client premises and enforce site rules with staff and visitors.
• Proactively present in public-facing areas and provide directional guidance.
