Job summary

Pertemps Bond seeks an experienced CCTV Operator for a day shift in Westminster and Hammersmith, London. The role is a temporary assignment with hours Thursday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, paying from £19.98 per hour with weekend supplements.

You will monitor a large CCTV network, coordinate with police and partners, and prepare evidential reports to support public protection services. After 3 months, overtime rates are enhanced where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven CCTV control-room experience and professional approach to public safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce factual, accurate reports and evidential records.
• IT literacy including Microsoft Office, email and CCTV/control-room software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras proactively and respond to live incidents.
• Detect and report anti-social behaviour and crime.
• Liaise with police and operational colleagues, sharing CCTV information and intelligence.
• Maintain incident logs and statements to evidential standards.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and log faults.
• Manage CCTV requests via Clearance or other systems.
• Act as radio controller for the SafetyNet system.
• Attend court as a witness and present CCTV evidence.
