Job description

Are you curious about business, fascinated by the news and keen to build a career in PR where no two days are quite the same?

My client is looking for an Account Executive to join its B2B and Corporate team, working across an interesting mix of clients spanning business, corporate and trade media.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to get stuck into agency life, develop their PR skills and work alongside a talented team delivering campaigns that have genuine impact for ambitious businesses.

With a minimum of 6-12 months experience, you might already be working as an Account Executive and looking for your next challenge or you could be ready to step up from an entry-level PR, communications or client-facing role.

A role where you can really develop

You’ll be involved in a broad range of PR activity from the outset, gaining hands‑on experience across media relations, content creation, research, client servicing and campaign delivery.

You’ll learn how to spot a good story, understand what makes journalists take notice and turn complex business information into compelling content. You’ll build your knowledge of different industries and develop an understanding of the commercial challenges and opportunities facing your clients.

Working as part of a small team, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas, ask questions and take ownership of your work while learning from more experienced members of the agency.

One day you could be researching a new media angle for a client, the next drafting a press release, supporting a client meeting or helping to track the results of a campaign. It’s varied, fast‑paced and ideal for someone who enjoys learning and being involved.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support a portfolio of B2B and Corporate clients, helping the team deliver high-quality work and build strong, lasting relationships.

Your day-to-day could include:

  • Supporting PR campaigns and activity plans across a range of clients and sectors
  • Building relationships with journalists across business, trade and B2B media
  • Researching stories, industry trends and relevant media opportunities
  • Helping to identify proactive opportunities that support client objectives
  • Drafting press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, features, case studies, newsletters and website copy
  • Supporting editorial planning, campaign reporting and media coverage tracking
  • Preparing for client meetings, taking notes and making sure actions are followed through
  • Contributing ideas and bringing a fresh perspective to client campaigns
  • Managing your workload effectively and keeping the wider team updated on progress
What will make you stand out?

You’ll probably have some experience in PR, communications or another client-facing environment, ideally within an agency. You’ll have started developing your writing skills and be comfortable researching a subject and turning information into clear, engaging copy.

More importantly, you’ll be someone who is naturally curious.

You’ll have a genuine interest in business, current affairs and the stories shaping different industries. You’ll want to understand why something matters rather than simply being given a task to complete.

You’ll be organised and detail-focused with pride in the quality of your work. You’ll communicate confidently, be comfortable asking questions and have the initiative to get things moving rather than waiting to be told what to do.

And while you’ll be ambitious about developing your career, you’ll also be a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a positive agency environment.

You’ll be joining an established, people-focused communications agency working with ambitious brands across a varied B2B and Corporate client portfolio.

The agency has built its reputation around creative storytelling, strong client relationships and delivering communications that have a genuine commercial impact. It’s an environment where people are encouraged to contribute ideas, develop their skills and take ownership of their work.

You’ll be surrounded by experienced PR and communications professionals who will give you the support and exposure needed to develop your career, while still giving you the opportunity to make your mark.

The role is hybrid, offering a balance of home working and time in the agency’s London office and all candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
