Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK is seeking an Account Executive to support day-to-day PR activity across construction and built environment clients, helping to shape compelling stories and media outreach. This is an excellent chance to develop industry knowledge while delivering impactful campaigns and maintaining strong media contacts.

You will develop writing, content creation and media relationships in a creative, fast-paced agency setting, with clear progression opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Research, pitch, write and publish news releases for clients.
  • Write articles for client magazines, newsletters and external publications.
  • Create speeches, ad copy, brochure content and website copy.
  • Support strategy documents and communications plans aligned to client objectives.
  • Travel to UK and international locations to gather information.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships to maximise coverage.
  • Act as media enquiries contact and provide accurate information.
  • Coordinate photography and work with contractors and clients on visuals.
  • Benchmark client activity to ensure alignment with industry best practice.

Job Overview

The Account Executive role is central to the delivery of public relations and communications activity across multiple client accounts.As an Account Executive, you will support day-to-day client work, contribute to content creation and help manage media relationships while developing a strong understanding of the construction industry.This Account Executive position is well suited to someone with a writing or PR background who is keen to grow within an agency environment and take on increasing responsibility over time.The Account Executive will gain hands-on experience across campaigns, strategy and client engagement.
