Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK is recruiting on behalf of a growing Camden-based communications agency for an Account Executive. No PR experience is required; the right person will be curious, communicative and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll support media outreach, craft press materials and assist with campaigns from planning to delivery. Hybrid working in Camden, with mentoring and clear career progression into senior roles.

Qualifications

• No previous PR experience required.
• A genuine interest in current affairs, media and communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident building relationships with a wide range of people.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.
• A degree is welcome but not essential.
• Experience in customer facing roles such as hospitality, retail or sales would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining media lists to support client campaigns.
• Researching journalists, producers and media contacts to identify the best opportunities for stories.
• Developing relationships with key media contacts and supporting media outreach.
• Assisting with the delivery of PR campaigns from planning through to execution.
• Tracking media coverage and producing campaign reports.
• Drafting press releases, media pitches and briefing documents.
• Supporting client meetings and campaign discussions from an early stage.
• Monitoring the daily news agenda and identifying opportunities for clients.
• Providing administrative support to ensure campaigns run smoothly.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team across multiple client accounts.
