Job summary

Public Protection Service in Romford is seeking a dedicated professional to complete compliance, enforcement and project work within a performance management regime. You will work on defined areas within the Public Protection Service as directed by your Line Manager and support the Management Team to ensure efficient operations and continual service improvement.

You will carry out casework across technical areas, engage with members, residents, external agencies and partners, and maintain ICT

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification required or equivalent.
• Membership of a relevant professional organisation desirable.
• Experience in enforcement and public protection is essential.
• Ability to work outside core hours on a pre-arranged basis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and fully investigate reactive requests for service within Public Protection and own areas of competency.
• Carry out proactive inspections and sampling programmes.
• Support projects as agreed with a Public Protection Manager.
• Achieve performance targets for the service and individually.
• Maintain technical and legal knowledge within the Public Protection Technical Competency Matrix.
• Liaise with members and senior managers regarding own caseload.
• Promote collaboration with stakeholders and partners.
