Griffiths Ltd. is recruiting a Public Liaison Officer to support BSIP projects across the North Somerset region.

The role involves acting as the primary contact for the public and stakeholders, managing enquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner, and coordinating community engagement alongside site teams. The post also supports social value initiatives, including employment and education engagement, with responsibilities across communications and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement or stakeholder liaison roles, preferably in construction, utilities or infrastructure.
• Experience engaging with the public and handling enquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders including residents, businesses and local organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Community Engagement Plan for BSIP projects.
• Act as the first point of contact for members of the public and stakeholders.
• Manage and resolve enquiries and complaints relating to construction activities.
• Maintain a complaints and enquiries register, ensuring issues are tracked and closed out.
• Support Site Agents and project teams by managing community interface and communication.
• Liaise with client representatives, local authorities and stakeholders to support coordinated communication and engagement.
