Job summary

Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking a dynamic Community Liaison Officer to support our Southwest England projects, working on-site from Bristol. You will engage local communities, coordinate with site teams, and drive social value initiatives.

The role focuses on stakeholder communication, event participation, and tracking community benefit KPIs, with responsibilities spanning newsletters and engagement plans. On-site role with strong collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between construction projects and local communities.
• Work with site management to implement community engagement plans and resolve challenges or delays.
• Keep stakeholders informed of project progress with high standard of customer care.
• Respond to enquiries from residents, stakeholders, and third parties promptly and professionally.
• Draft and manage communication materials including newsletters and engagement plans.
• Coordinate and attend community events such as meet-the-contractor sessions and school engagements.
• Monitor, report and track community benefit KPIs for monthly management reports.
