Tower Hamlets Council is offering an exciting Apprenticeship as a Public Health Practitioner Apprentice. The role combines study with hands-on work in the Public Health team, leading to a Level 6 Public Health BSc and eligibility for UKPHR registration.

During the three-year contract, you will gain experience across prevention, surveillance and protection while developing essential communication and data skills. A structured learning plan supports your progression.

Qualifications

• Good communication, data understanding and ability to engage with communities will be important.
• This role supports the Public Health team in planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of services.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Public Health team to gain experience in prevention of ill health, health surveillance and health protection.
• Support planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation, communication and engagement approaches to public health services, projects and programmes.
• Collaborate with Tower Hamlets teams and external partners to meet learning objectives of the Apprenticeship.
• Attend in-person university courses one day per week during the programme.
