Derby City Council is offering a Level 6 apprenticeship within its Public Health division, split between the Public Health and Neighbourhoods teams. The program runs for three years as a fixed-term contract and includes a BSc Public Health at Coventry University, with at least one study day per week.

Start date is early January 2027 to align with course dates. No prior public health experience is required if relevant knowledge can be applied.

Responsabilidades

• Support planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of public health services and programmes.
• Gain experience in prevention of ill health, health protection and health improvement.
• Collaborate with Neighbourhood Managers/Officers and Local Area Coordinators.
• Work with the Public Health Knowledge and Intelligence team on neighbourhood profiles.
