Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Stadium Attendant for Herringthorpe Athletics Stadium. The role is based entirely at the stadium with shifts across evenings and weekends to meet service needs.

You will help maintain facilities, assist with bookings and access control, and ensure visitors have a safe, positive experience. Prior sport/ leisure or customer service exposure is beneficial; training is provided, including first aid if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports, leisure, customer service or facilities environment would be beneficial.
• First aid experience is helpful but not essential as training can be provided.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the athletics track and facilities.
• Carry out routine inspections and assist with bookings and access control.
• Provide a welcoming, helpful visitor experience and support basic administration.
