Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting a Stadium Supervisor for Herringthorpe Athletics Stadium. The role is based on site and focuses on safe, welcoming facilities and excellent customer service.

You will coordinate athletics programmes, manage bookings and events, and supervise staff and volunteers, working with clubs, schools and partners to maximise participation in sport across Rotherham. Evening and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports, leisure, athletics or events environment.
• Organised, customer-focused and able to manage a busy facility.
• Level 3 coaching, leadership or equivalent qualification and First Aid are required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the stadium, ensuring facilities are safe, clean, secure and ready for use.
• Coordinate athletics programmes, training sessions, competitions and events, and manage bookings and schedules.
• Supervise staff, casual workers and volunteers, and provide a high-quality service to clubs, schools and community partners.
