Job summary

Rotherham Civic Theatre is seeking a Casual Assistant to join the technical team, supporting the setup, operation and dismantling of shows in the Civic Theatre and other venues. The role involves working with sound, lighting and stage craft, and using technical equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge and experience of working in sound, lighting or stage craft.
• Ability to use technical equipment and operate safely in a theatre environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, operation and dismantling of shows within the Civic Theatre or other areas.
• Work in a safe manner in noisy environments and at height or in confined spaces as required.
• Support the technical team across the Culture, Sport and Tourism sector.
