Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Supervisor to join our busy pub team in Newmarket. You’ll lead the team, deliver great guest experiences, and support the management to run a profitable operation.

This role offers a friendly, fast-paced environment with real opportunities to progress through our internal pathways. You’ll be a hands-on leader, opening and closing shifts, managing stock and cash, and ensuring high service standards across the board.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service.
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative.
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Collaborate with pub management to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, stock, and cashing up.
• Provide outstanding customer service and be a role model for the team.
• Take initiative and ensure smooth shift operation in absence of senior managers.
