Job summary

Haven’s JD Wetherspoon pub is seeking a Pub Shift Leader to lead assigned shifts, guiding the team to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards. You’ll contribute to a warm, guest-focused environment with strong emphasis on food quality and safety.

You will oversee food preparation, ensure compliance with hygiene regulations, handle guest queries, and help train new staff. Flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hospitality Shift Leader, Team Leader or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, pub or a JD Wetherspoon is preferred but not essential; training and support will be provided.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, especially when handling food orders.

• Lead and support the team by assigning tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and motivating the team to deliver excellent service.
• Provide prompt, professional guest service, addressing complaints and special requests.

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal

Pay Rates: Up to £13.71 per hour depending on age
