Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: recruit, train, supervise, and support pub staff with regular meetings and feedback.
• Customer service: ensure exceptional service, handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Operations management: oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Sales and marketing: help develop promotions and events to drive revenue.
• Financial management: monitor expenses, assist with budgets and vendor relations, prepare reports.
• Teamwork and communication: promote a collaborative environment and coordinate with departments and suppliers.
• Compliance: ensure licensing, health and safety compliance and implement changes as needed.
• Problem solving: identify issues, make decisions in manager's absence, escalate as needed.
• Pub maintenance: coordinate repairs and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
• Training and development: deliver staff training and stay updated on pub industry trends.
