Job summary

Greene King is seeking a General Manager to lead a community pub, developing the team and delivering a warm welcome for customers. You will drive sales, model exemplary leadership and ensure a safe, high-quality experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will recruit and mentor staff, maintain strict brand standards, and demonstrate strong English communication. A personal license may be required or pursued if not already held.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience desirable in hospitality, retail, or fast-paced environments.
• Strong English communication and leadership capabilities are essential.
• Able to demonstrate P&L control and commercial acumen.
• Willingness to obtain or hold a personal license if required.

Responsibilities

• Grow pub sales in collaboration with the business development manager and management team.
• Lead by example and bring the Greene King brand to life through your team.
• Recruit and develop your team to ensure excellent customer experiences.
• Champions brand standards and ensures customer and team safety at all times.
• Be prepared to obtain a personal license if not already held.
