Job summary

Marston’s is on the lookout for a Commis Chef to join our team at our local pub. You’ll prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, learning new prepping skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

As a Commis Chef you’ll grow your career within a supportive team and work in a fast-paced kitchen, helping with day-to-day running and delivering great hot food to spec. We offer a friendly, lively atmosphere and real opportunities to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time

Responsibilities

• Assist in prep and cooking to ensure dishes come up to standard
• Support a section of the kitchen and help maintain cleanliness and organisation
• Collaborate with team to deliver the menu to our high quality standards
• Maintain consistent food quality and portion control
• Follow kitchen procedures and safety guidelines
