Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a Gym Supervisor in Cambridge to oversee gym operations, inspire members, and actively support the Personal Training Team. You will also have opportunities to deliver personal training sessions and classes, contributing to an exceptional member experience every day.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, fitness industry knowledge, and effective communication within a busy, premium health club environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 CIMSPA to apply.
• Must have passion for health and fitness and ability to inspire our members.
• Strong communication and interaction skills.
• Experience in the fitness industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all gym activities and deliver a fabulous member experience seven days a week.
• Manage the Personal Training Team and contribute to class delivery.
• Deliver Personal Training and run a range of classes when required.
• Support customer service and member engagement.

As Gym Supervisor, you will monitor all activities that take place in the gym space and give our members a fabulous experience every day, 7 days a week. This is a combined role where you will be responsible for managing our fantastic Personal Training Team, whilst also being an active part of the gym team.

As part of the role, you will also have the option to deliver Personal Training and deliver our incredible array of classes. About you

As Gym Supervisor: Please be aware, you must hold a minimum Level 3 CIMSPA to apply for this role.

• You’ll have a passionate about health and fitness and able to support and inspire our members achieve their goals.
• Have overall great communication and interaction skills.
• Previous experience within the fitness industry.
• Have a passion about customer service.
