Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is seeking psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in Croydon-based schools, supporting pupils with SEND. The full-time position runs five days a week, with the possibility of a permanent contract after three terms.

You will assist with a range of SEND needs, including autism and ADHD, and will benefit from training opportunities and ongoing classroom experience. A DBS check is required or available via the online update service.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to stay calm and de-escalate challenging behaviour
• DBS check up-to-date or willing to apply for a new one

• Based in Croydon
• Full-TimeEmpowering Learning is recruiting Psychology Graduates to support a number of schools in Croydon as Teaching Assistants. Your role will be to support pupils with different SEND needs, some needs you will be supporting are Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential. You will working on a full-time basis working 5 days a week with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.
