Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Croydon is seeking dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants to work with students in an SEND school. You will support learning in the classroom, assist with personal care, and participate in therapy sessions to help students reach their full potential.

The role starts ASAP with hours 8:30 to 16:00, and requires passion, enthusiasm, and experience with Autism or complex needs. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential for promoting an inclusive learning environment.

Croydon Teaching Assistant

Are you a SEND Learning Support Assistant OR worked within the care sector with experience supporting students with ADHD, Autism or complex needs?

Empowering Learning Ltd are looking to appoint outstanding SEND Learning Support Assistants in the Croydon area with experience supporting SEND students, particularly to work with students within an SEND School. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are hands on and can support students with SEND, assisting in a classroom setting and with personal care and assisting with therapy sessions to support students to reach the best of their abilities. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment. So, if you would like the opportunity to make a difference to others and develop a career in working with children with then this is a great opportunity to do so. This position is to start ASAP. Hours of work 8.30 till 4pm. (not negotiable)

To be successful for this role you must:

• Have passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to work in SEND Learning environments


• Have knowledge and experience with Autism or complex needs


• Play a significant role in the students learning journey


• Additional training such as manual handling, hoisting, personal care.
