Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Enfield is recruiting a Psychology Graduate to support pupils with SEND as a Teaching Assistant in several Enfield schools. The role is full-time, five days a week, with potential and pathway to permanent placement after term completion.

You will assist pupils with learning difficulties, help maintain calm environments, and support with personal care if needed. DBS check required or willingness to apply; training opportunities such as SEND workshops and Team Teach are

Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant

Primary & Secondary SEND Schools

• Based in Enfield
• Full-TimeEmpowering Learning is recruiting Psychology Graduates to support a number of schools in Enfield as Teaching Assistants. Your role will be to support pupils with different SEND needs, some needs you will be supporting are Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential. You will be working on a full-time basis working 5 days a week with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.

Job Requirements

• Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential
• Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Available 5 days a week
