Qualifications

• A degree in Psychology, Child Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
• A genuine passion for child development and inclusive education.
• Experience with children, mentoring, tutoring, or support work is desirable.
• A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to support pupils with different needs and abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Working with pupils who have SEMH and behavioural needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Helping pupils access learning and overcome barriers in the classroom.
• Supporting communication, social development, and emotional regulation.
• Assisting with interventions and personalised learning activities.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
