Qualifications

  • A degree in Psychology, Child Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
  • A genuine passion for child development and inclusive education.
  • Experience with children, young people, mentoring, tutoring, or support work is desirable.
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach; strong communication and teamwork skills; safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
  • Work with pupils with SEMH and behavioral needs.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
  • Help pupils access learning and overcome barriers in the classroom.
  • Support communication, social development and emotional regulation.
  • Assist with interventions and personalised learning activities.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.

Aspire People are recruiting Psychology Graduates to work in supportive school environments across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

These roles are ideal for graduates who want to apply their understanding of child development, behaviour, communication, and emotional wellbeing while gaining practical experience supporting pupils with SEND.

The Role May Include:
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
