Protocol Education is recruiting a Psychology Graduate Behaviour & Learning Mentor to support students at a South Shields specialist provision. This role blends academic support with strategies to keep learners engaged and to reach their full potential.

You will help re-engage disengaged pupils, deliver targeted interventions, encourage attendance, and build positive relationships while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• Psychology Degree required.
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above.
• Resilience and confidence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with classroom learning
• Re-engaging pupils who have become disengaged from education
• Encouraging attendance and participation
• Building positive relationships with students
• Supporting behaviour management strategies within lessons
• Delivering targeted academic interventions
• Providing limited pastoral support where required
