Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Psychology Graduate Behaviour & Learning Mentor to support students at a South Shields specialist provision. This role blends academic support with strategies to keep learners engaged and to reach their full potential.

You will help re-engage disengaged pupils, deliver targeted interventions, encourage attendance, and build positive relationships while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• Psychology Degree required.
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above.
• Resilience and confidence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly.

Hours: Monday 8:30am - 4:30pm | Tuesday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:00pm | Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you looking to gain meaningful experience supporting young people before pursuing a career in Psychology?

We are recruiting a Psychology Graduate Behaviour & Learning Mentor to work within a specialist provision supporting students who may face barriers to learning.

About the Role

This is not a purely pastoral role. The majority of your time will be spent supporting students academically, helping them remain engaged in lessons and encouraging them to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
