Job summary

Protocol Education Limited in North Shields is seeking a Psychology Graduate to support students in a welcoming secondary school. You will apply psychology knowledge to education, behaviour, and inclusion while gaining practical experience working with young people.

You will work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, supporting those with ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs and helping develop confidence and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient individuals are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-to-one and in small groups.
• Work with pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH needs.
• Help students develop confidence, resilience and emotional regulation.
• Support positive behaviour strategies within the classroom.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Collaborate with SEND, safeguarding and pastoral teams.
• Build positive relationships to improve engagement and outcomes.
