Job summary

Arriva Yorkshire Limited is seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic/Engineer to join our on-site teams across Wakefield and nearby towns. You’ll service, maintain and repair vehicles to Arriva and DVSA standards, diagnose faults and support MOT preparation.

We offer a competitive salary with overtime, 24 days’ leave plus bank holidays, training and progression, and free bus travel for you and a nominated family member. If you don’t hold a PCV licence, we’ll teach you to drive a bus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance & repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
• Fit to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance & repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Vehicle fault diagnostics & preventative maintenance.
• MOT prep & quality checks.
• Attending roadside breakdowns.
