Job summary

Arriva is seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic/Engineer to service and repair buses across our North East locations, including Heckmondwike. The role offers full-time permanent employment with opportunities to progress within a large public transport network.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance, a full UK driving licence (6 points or less), and are fit to pass a PCV medical. Training will be provided where necessary, with overtime and benefits included.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 PSV/HGV maintenance or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
• Fit to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Vehicle fault diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
• MOT preparation and quality checks.
• Attending roadside breakdowns.
