Job summary

First Glasgow 1 Ltd is seeking a PSV/HGV Nightshift Mechanic at Caledonia Depot, Glasgow. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and servicing PSV/HGV buses during night shifts from 8pm to 6am, four nights per week, including occasional weekend work. A Level 3 NVQ/SVQ or City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance is required.

PSV/HGV Nightshift Mechanic

Location: Caledonia Depot, 100 Cathcart Road, G42 7BH

Key Details

• £24.07 per hour
• Minimum 37 hours per week
• £ 46,310 per annum
• 4 nights per week (1 weekend in 3)
• 8pm-6am
• £2,000 joining bonus!
• Further pay increase scheduled for April 2027.

What We're Looking For

• Do you have a Level 3 NVQ/SVQ or City & Guilds equivalent in vehicle maintenance & repair?
• Do you have experience working on HGV or PSV?
• Do you have a valid UK driving licence?
• Do you also have a strong attention to detail and a passion for mechanics?

Joining Bonus - terms apply. Available to new team members joining us for the first time or returning to us after more than 12 months.
