Arriva UK Bus is looking for skilled and experienced Engineers to join our growing engineering teams across the business. Whether your background is in PSV engineering, HGV maintenance, mechanical or automotive engineering, this is an exciting opportunity to build a long‑term engineering career with one of the UK’s leading transport operators.

As an Engineer at Arriva, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our fleet and infrastructure, helping ensure our vehicles remain safe,

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Experience as PSV Engineer, HGV Technician, Bus Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Engineer.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good health and safety understanding in engineering/transport environments.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on buses/PSVs and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Complete repairs and upgrades in line with DVSA and safety standards.
• Support fleet reliability through fault finding and problem solving.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals; maintain records.
• Collaborate with workshop teams and departments; ensure high standards.
