Arriva UK Bus is seeking skilled Engineers to join our expanding teams across the business. Roles span PSV, HGV, and heavy vehicle maintenance, offering a long-term engineering career with a leading UK operator.

You’ll maintain and improve our fleet and infrastructure to keep vehicles safe, reliable, and operational for millions of passengers daily, while supporting training and career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous PSV Engineer or HGV Technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on buses, PSVs, vehicles, and engineering equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Complete repairs, modifications, and upgrades in line with DVSA and safety standards.
• Support fleet reliability through fault finding and technical problem solving.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and maintenance documentation.
• Work collaboratively with workshop teams and operations.
