Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an established business within the powered access and MEWP industry. This hands-on role covers prototype and development machines, assembling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components from design through to working machines.

You will read engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, identify build issues, support engineers with new product development and provide practical feedback to

Qualifications

Must have experience in mechanical assembly, engineering or manufacturing.
A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

Assemble prototype and development machines.
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly.
Read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions.
Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
Identify and resolve build issues during assembly.
Support engineers with new product development and design changes.
Provide practical feedback to improve products.
Assist with testing and development of new equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
