Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an established business within the powered access and MEWP industry. This hands-on role covers prototype and development machines, assembling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components from design through to working machines.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in mechanical assembly, engineering or manufacturing.
• A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototype and development machines.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly.
• Read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
• Identify and resolve build issues during assembly.
• Support engineers with new product development and design changes.
• Provide practical feedback to improve products.
• Assist with testing and development of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
