Sammons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembly Technician in Eastbourne to assemble precision mechanical and electrical components, wire and test assemblies, and ensure products meet tight quality standards. You will follow detailed procedures, create and update manufacturing instructions, record test results, and support new product introductions.

Occasional client visits and travel with expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly.
• Experience in precision assembly, wiring or product testing would be advantageous.
• Manufacturing or cleanroom experience is desirable.
• Experience working with low-volume or customised products would be beneficial.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out wiring, testing and quality checks.
