Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Milton Keynes is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a hands-on development team. You will assemble prototype machines, integrating mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components while following engineering drawings and instructions.

The role focuses on bringing new products from design to working machines, with opportunities to contribute to testing, feedback, and design changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly, engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Practical experience with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
• Confident use of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototype and development machines.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
• Identify and resolve build issues.
• Support engineers with new product development and design changes.
• Provide practical feedback to improve products.
• Assist with testing and development of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
