Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking a protection and control engineer to support multiple projects across the UK. You will define technical scope during development and move into delivery, focusing on panel and scheme designs.

You will configure protection equipment, assess third-party factory acceptance tests, and assist in developing our digital design capabilities and standardisation across projects. Strong communication skills are essential for informed decisions by project leadership.

Qualifications

• HNC in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience in transmission protection and control: design, specification, and setting calculation.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly for project decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Configure protection and control equipment per application and scheme requirements.
• Assess and adjudicate third-party factory acceptance tests for protection equipment.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams to identify and manage engineering risks and opportunities.
• Deliver outputs to programme and contribute to digital design capability and standardisation efforts.
