Job summary

microTECH Global LTD is seeking a mid-level technical process owner for the propulsion AIT programme in the UK. You will translate qualification requirements and engineering intent into a complete library of test procedures, test plans, and assembly instructions, and then execute those procedures hands-on.

You will collaborate with Propulsion Design and Test Engineers, report to the Lead AIT Engineer, and ensure delivery by owning the procedural and logistical backbone from first-article

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience writing test procedures, assembly instructions, or work instructions for mechanical, fluidic, or propulsion hardware in flight/high-reliability environments.
• Hands-on experience executing the procedures you write, on bench and desk.
• Experience with pressurised systems to write safe, compliant procedures and execute them.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and system docs to produce accurate procedural content.
• Good documentation discipline with version control and traceability in flight programmes.

Responsibilities

• Own the writing, review, and maintenance of all assembly instructions, work instructions, and build procedures from component level to integrated module on propulsion system.
• Write and own test plans and test procedures for propulsion campaigns (pressure, proof, leak, functional flow, performance).
• Maintain the AIT schedule, interface with test facilities, ensure GSE is available for each test.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and hazardous operations procedures are in place.
• Execute test/assembly procedures hands-on, operate test rigs and instrumentation, record results for traceability.
• Maintain propulsion procedure library with version control and configuration management.
• Support integration of propulsion system into satellite structure and assembly procedures for integration sequence.
• Manage non-conformances on propulsion hardware, raise NCRs, support dispositions, update procedures.
