Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to lead and support the planning, execution and analysis of propulsion system tests in our professional engine testing environment. You will work with specialist facilities and cutting-edge technology to validate product performance, deliver high-quality test reports, and support continuous improvement within a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive disciplines is desirable.
• Strong teamwork to drive tasks collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and attention to detail and compliance.
• Self-driven, innovative and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on propulsion systems using laboratory facilities.
• Assist in developing test plans to simulate real-world conditions for various industries (Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Commercial).
• Support project setup activities, engaging all key stakeholders in Intertek processes.
• Monitor and record test data, ensuring it meets quality and performance standards.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during testing, introducing solutions to prevent recurrence.
