Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer in London to lead, plan and execute propulsion system tests using specialised facilities and advanced technology. You will work as part of a diverse engineering team, delivering high-quality results for a range of customers and projects.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, an engineering background, strong problem-solving and a customer-focused approach to meet demanding performance criteria in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive (desirable).
• Extensive industry-relevant engineering experience desirable.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative task-driving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct propulsion tests in laboratory-based facilities.
• Develop test plans to simulate real-world conditions across industries.
• Assist in project setup, engaging all key stakeholders in Intertek processes.
• Monitor and record test data to meet quality and performance standards.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports with findings and recommendations.
