Proposals Engineer (Sales)

Salary and Benefits: Competitive Salary DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension + Healthplan

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 09:00 to 15:00

Company Overview: An industry-leading engineering company experiencing growth, working with top blue-chip clients across sectors such as power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, construction, infrastructure, water, waste, recycling, and manufacturing.

Candidate Profile: Suitable for candidates with experience in engineering sales, or those transitioning into sales roles. Graduates in engineering, acoustics, or similar fields are encouraged, as well as candidates with a hands-on steel fabrication background seeking an office/sales role.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and present proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  2. Collaborate with engineering, design, and supply chain teams.
  3. Build relationships with new and existing clients.
  4. Update and manage CRM database using Salesforce.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Experience in a similar proposal or sales role.
  2. Degree in engineering, acoustics, or a related field.
  3. Understanding of airflow dynamics.
  4. Hands-on experience with steel fabrication or in a sheet steel environment, seeking to move into an office-based role.
