In this position, you will build technical and commercial proposals for UK mid to large skills projects. You will need to meet customer due dates, provide quality proposals, and support execution post-order to reduce commercial risk while maintaining high service standards for both internal and external customers. Once an order is received, it will be the project engineer's responsibility to load the order into the system and ensure a smooth handover to facilities and the Order/Project Management teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Logging all Requests for Quotation (RFQ) accurately into the sales CRM system and providing feedback on quotes as required.
• Preparing and issuing enquiries to selected vendors, evaluating proposals, and ensuring high-quality, compliant proposals are submitted within deadlines. Addressing bid clarification requests promptly and revising proposals accordingly.
• Reviewing customer Purchase Orders (PO) against project quotations and clarifications for technical and commercial compliance. Addressing anomalies and requesting PO amendments as needed.
• Processing orders in the Oracle system, ensuring all relevant information is included to communicate requirements to suppliers and colleagues.
• Supporting Project and Order Management to ensure successful order completion, including handling technical and commercial issues. Processing PO amendments, defending, and strengthening contracts regarding risk and profitability while maintaining good relationships with customers.
• Being a valuable member of the Bid Management team by contributing regularly at departmental and management meetings.
• Ensuring full compliance with legal, trade, and ethical business requirements and following vital procedures.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Qualification in an engineering field or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience managing major projects, including exposure to the EPC contractor community.
• Experience selling within a multi-product line engineering business.
• Strong commercial knowledge and business acumen.
• Knowledge of business systems such as Oracle.
