In this position, you will build technical and commercial proposals for UK mid to large-scale projects. You will need to meet customer deadlines, provide quality proposals, and support execution post-order to reduce commercial risk while maintaining high service standards for both internal and external customers. Once an order is received, the project engineer is responsible for loading the order into the system and ensuring a smooth handover to facilities and Project Management teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Logging all RFQs accurately into the sales CRM system and providing feedback as needed.
• Preparing and issuing inquiries to vendors, evaluating proposals, and ensuring high-quality, compliant submissions within deadlines. Address bid clarification requests promptly and revise proposals accordingly.
• Reviewing customer Purchase Orders against project quotations for technical and commercial compliance, resolving anomalies, and requesting amendments as needed.
• Processing orders in Oracle, ensuring all relevant information is communicated to suppliers and internal teams.
• Supporting Project and Order Management to ensure successful order completion, including handling PO amendments and managing contract risks and profitability.
• Contributing actively to the Bid Management team and participating in departmental/management meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, trade, and ethical standards and following company procedures.

Who You Are:

You collaborate effectively, gather data from diverse sources, and provide timely, helpful information. You deliver solutions that meet customer expectations, break down objectives into actionable initiatives, and stay updated with new communication technologies.

Requirements:

• Qualification in engineering or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing major projects, especially with EPC contractors.
• Experience in selling within multi-product engineering businesses.
• Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of business systems like Oracle.
