Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking an entry-level Proposal Writer to join its UK Procurement team in Bangor North Wales. You will gather information, format content, proofread, and help deliver competitive bids and proposals.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, deadlines, and collaboration with Sales to produce Statements of Work. A Bachelor's degree and proficiency in MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, or related field required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication within a team.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to quality, detail, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes target dates for information gathering, drafting, review and approval.
• Collaborates with Sales to produce written Statements of Work proposals.
• Organizes multi-stage draft reviews based on feedback.
• Revises content per management feedback.
• Proofreads content for spelling, punctuation, grammar and clarity.
• Maintains and schedules proposal tasks and responsibilities.
• Tracks proposals and updates status in progress.
• Coordinates proposal content by reviewing RFPs and attending strategy meetings.
• Performs compliance reviews of proposals per client instructions.
• Researches industry information as needed.
• Develops templates for commonly proposed services.
• Maintains proposal writing standards and templates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
