Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking a Billing Specialist to support the Accounting team in a full‑time, in‑office role based in Bangor, North Wales. You will handle daily billing operations, issue invoices, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely, accurate billing.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar position, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and a strong eye for detail, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software is strongly preferred.
  • Degree / Qualifications in accounting or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position is required.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Acumatica is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices for products / services rendered
  • Verify billing data and correct errors promptly
  • Post customer payments and update account records
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and generating aging reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards
  • Generate accurate and timely customer invoices.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer requests are executed in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Ensure billing contact information is up‑to‑date and accurate for all customers.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide necessary supporting documentation as requested.
  • Research and resolve billing issues, or other account discrepancies with promptness and accuracy.
  • Work with other areas of Accounting to help with project‑specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Performs special projects as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Location - Office based, Bangor, North Wales Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking a Billing Specialist to support our Accounting team. This will be a full-time, in-office position, based in our offices in Bangor, North Wales.

What You Will Accomplish Here…

As a Billing Specialist, you will support the day‑to‑day billing operations for our global offices, including ensuring time worked is accurately and timely reported and issuing accurate invoices to appropriate clients. You will have the opportunity to collaborate in a team environment and help optimise productivity in a critical component of our business.

This Position Will Focus On The Following
