Job summary

TALENTOMETRY LIMITED is seeking a Proposal Engineer in the United Kingdom to support the MCC and power control business across the UK. The role involves tendering, interpreting drawings and specifications, and preparing detailed procurement documentation for bids.

You will collaborate with the estimating team to price tenders, assess scope and risk, and manage the full tender lifecycle up to contract award. Occasional client-site visits and project start-up meetings are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering and proposal submission within engineering/construction.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word); estimating software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage full tender lifecycle from bid to contract award.
• Price tenders against framework schedules and assess scope and risk.
• Review documents for insurance terms and penalties; monitor contract terms.
• Attend project start-up meetings and handover information to production teams.
