Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking a role to provide a full inspection service for Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates, ensuring the property base is accurate for timely billing and collection. You will develop and implement a programme to visit all new and unoccupied properties, liaising with stakeholders to include them on the billing list.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a full inspection service for Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates to ensure the property base is up to date for accurate and timely billing and collection.
• Develop and implement a programme of visits to all new and unoccupied properties to ensure correct inclusion in the billing list.
• Liaise with relevant parties to establish completion dates for inclusion on the VOA billing list; issue information to the VOA on new properties, amendments and removals.
• Obtain occupation information including personal details for discounts, reliefs and exemptions as appropriate.
• Coordinate daily with Building Control and Planning to log new builds, alterations and extensions; amend Revenues systems and submit reports to the VOA.
• Visit applicants for Disability reductions to verify qualifying conditions for band reductions.
