Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Birmingham City Centre offers a paid 12-month Undergraduate Placement in Building, Estate and Property Management. The programme provides real insight into the professional environment and personalised development within our in-house Property department.

You’ll gain exposure across site management, refurbishments, and maintenance projects while contributing to live property programmes. A supportive buddy system complements structured workshops.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergraduate in a RICS/CIOB approved Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management degree.
• On track to achieve at least a 2:1 degree and review of first-year grades.
• Full UK driver’s licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into building, estate and property management within hospitality.
• Support site management, refurbishments and maintenance projects.
• Contribute to live property programmes and professional development.
• Experience across multiple property specialisms within a major UK operator.
