Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Goodwood (BMW Group UK) offers a 12.5-month placement in Facilities/Building Management. You’ll contribute to day-to-day operations, support project delivery, and engage in tendering and contract management activities.

The role is designed for students returning to study after the placement, with exposure to real projects and a supportive team environment. Successful candidates are pursuing a relevant degree, are on track for a 2:2, and are proficient with MS

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related; on track to achieve a 2:2.
• Strong interest or experience in Project Management.
• IT-literate, especially MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CAD.
• Ability to adapt approach, prioritise tasks, and solve problems under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day business operations, events, and meetings.
• Assist in service provider steering and contract management support.
• Analyse and optimise processes and workflows.
• Assist in tendering processes for construction projects and service contracts.
• Participate in project meetings with internal partners and support leaders to meet requirements.
• Take responsibility for sub-project deliverables and outcomes.
• Maintain open communication with site departments and functions.
• Support regular site walk-arounds, inspections, and audits to drive improvements.
