Advance Housing & Support Ltd is seeking a Property Services Quality Officer to oversee repairs, maintenance and void property programmes across our housing stock in a hybrid working arrangement. The role collaborates with contractors and stakeholders to maintain high standards of property condition, safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires deep knowledge of building maintenance, quality standards, and effective defect resolution, with a focus on compliance and service improvement for

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, property maintenance or responsive repairs.
• Knowledge of building methods, repair techniques and quality standards.
• Ability to identify defects and specify remedial works.
• Budget management experience in reactive maintenance.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
• Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management.
• Customer-focused with ability to build relationships.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct void property inspections and specify repair requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-work inspections to ensure quality.
• Investigate defects and maintenance issues for effective resolution.
• Monitor contractor performance against quality and cost standards.
• Support Fire Risk Assessments and property compliance.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance across Advance properties and offices.
• Maintain records and analyse performance in housing systems.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints related to property maintenance.
• Contribute to service improvements across Property Services.
